Welcome to Anderson Percherons & Half Draft Sport Horses!
Located in the beautiful Flathead Valley, 5 minutes west of Kalispell, Montana. We take pride in our horses and the care that we give to them. We maintain small numbers in our breeding herds to assure quality daily handling and grooming of all of our horses and provide exceptional care. Our horses are extremely gentle and will excel in any discipline of riding.
We have limited the number of our mares that we will be breeding each year due to the high number of unwanted horses on the market today. If you are looking for a quality foal, contact us in advance as our foals sell very quickly- usually they are reserved before weaning.

TANGO'S RESCUE STORY:
I purchased TANGO online as an untrained 2 year old colt that was awaiting slaughter in a feed lot. He was a former PMU horse, the ranch that had bought him as a replacment stallion had gone out of business and sent their unwanted horses off to slaughter.I was not looking to buy a horse at the time, especially a Percheron Stallion, but when I saw his photo I knew he deserved a chance at life. It took alot of hard work, special care and commitment to restore his health. When he arrived at our ranch he was in rough shape- He looked like a skeleton covered in horse hide. I was told by several people that he would never recover from his prior lack of care, but I was determined to try. I placed him on a special weight gaining diet. I never dreamed that he would of turned out to be what he is today. He is the gentlest stallion that I have ever been around and I am very thankful to have him in my family. He is the favorite in the show barn each year, and the favorite of all of the kids at our ranch. My 4 year old daughter has claimed him as her horse and is proud to sit up high on his back. Tango will always have a special place in our hearts as our miracle horse and will remain on our ranch for the rest of his life. All of the profits from breeding fees are used to care for and rescue other horses (of all breeds) that are in the same situation as he was to give them a chance at life. Rescued horses will be placed in proper caring homes when they are healthy and trained.
